Performing to sold-out shows across the country, LADYFREAK is a sex-positive comedy talk show hosted by GRACE PARRA (The Nightly Show w/Larry Wilmore) and JEN BARTELS (Friends of the People). Each month, the ladies tackle a taboo topic with fascinating guests, honest anecdotes, real experts, and even live music.

THIS MONTH'S SHOW: Sex Work: The Business of Sex, The Business of People. From sex trade, the life of a call girl, and trans identity, we'll showcase stories you've never heard from people in and around the business of sex. NOT TO BE MISSED.
Grace Parra
Grace Parra
Grace Parra is a writer, comedian, and contributor on THE NIGHTLY SHOW WITH LARRY WILMORE on Comedy Central. She's also the host of LADY/FREAK, a female sex comedy talk show that runs at UCB in Los Angeles, as well as the host of the digital series PRETTY STRONG OPINIONS WITH GRACE PARRA and the upcoming digital series BIG OPINIONS with GRACE PARRA on Lorne Michaels' new online venture MAS MEJOR. She created and starred in the webseries FRIDA KAHLO, JUNIOR MARKETING EXEC and was a cast member in the prestigious 2013 CBS DIVERSITY SHOWCASE. She's a Columbia University grad with a degree in Political Science and Hispanic Studies, and spent several years as the guitarist and lead singer of an all-girl rock band growing up in Houston, Texas.
Jen Bartels
Jen Bartels
Jennifer Bartels is originally from Raleigh, North Carolina and is a graduate of East Carolina University with a BFA in Professional theatre, Meisner concentration. She began studying at UCB-NY in 2006 and has studied under the teachings of Tara Copeland, Joe Wengert, Chris Gethard, Jason Mantzoukas, and Michael Delaney. She is a past member of the Harold community on such teams as Twelve Thousand Dollars, BANGS, Scootch and the Raw Harold. She was also a member of the Maude Sketch Community with Gorilla, Gorilla and Gramps. Jennifer currently can be seen hosting LADY/FREAK with Grace Parra at UCB Sunset. Credits include truTV's sketch show "Friends of the People" where she served as writer, actor and EP, as well as VH-1, ESPN, MIB3, Little Horribles and commercials where she usually plays the sarcastic friend. She was also featured as the NY Daily News Top 5 funny ladies of NYC. She can only handle one cup of cold brew.
Lea DeLaria
Lea DeLaria
LEA DELARIA seems to have achieved overnight stardom with her SAG Award winning, stand-out role as ‘Carrie ‘Big Boo’ Black’ in the Netflix hit series “Orange is the New Black.” However, DeLaria’s multi- faceted career as a comedian, actress and jazz musician, has in fact, spanned decades.

Lea holds the distinction of being the first openly gay comic on television in America which led to countless Television and Film roles portraying Police Lieutenants, PE Teachers and the Lesbian who inappropriately hits on straight women. Selected TV credits: “Awkward,” “Clarence,” “Californication,” “The Oblongs,” “One Live to Live,” “Law and Order: SVU,” “Will and Grace,” “The Oblongs,” “Friends” & “Matlock.” Selected Film credits: First Wives Club, Dear Dumb Diary, Edge of Seventeen.

She’s received Obie & Theater World Awards, and a Drama Desk nomination for her portrayal as ‘Hildy’ in the Public Theatre’s revival of On The Town, an Ovation nomination for The Boys From Syracuse, and has played both Eddie & Dr. Scott in the gender-bending Broadway musical The Rocky Horror Show.

Lea was the featured vocalist at the 50th Anniversary of the Newport Jazz Festival, and has performed in some of the most prestigious houses in the world including Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, the Chicago Symphony, Hollywood Bowl, The Royal Albert Hall and the Sydney Opera House.

Lea has five records on the Warner Jazz and Classics label and her book "Lea's Book of Rules for the World" is in its third printing at Bantam Doubleday and Dell.

Her sixth record, House Of David delaria+bowie=jazz, is available in stores and online now.

Diane Neal is an American actress best known for her role as Casey Novak on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, which she played from 2003 to 2008, then reprised her role from 2011 to 2012.
Lauren Adams
Lauren Adams
Lauren Adams is a NYC based actress, and improviser who made her television debut as “Gretchen Chalker,” one of the ‘Indiana Mole Women’ on Netflix’s “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.” Born in Washington D.C. Lauren got her start in theatre. She's performed at The Warner Theatre and Kennedy Center in DC, The Prospect Theatre Company in New York as well as The B St. Theatre and the Foothill Theatre Company in California. Adams graduated from Elon University in North Carolina with a BFA in Music Theatre, and studied sketch and improv at The Upright Citizens Brigade. She regularly performs at UCB and is a proud member of sketch comedy super group Onassis.

Andrea Syrtash is a relationship expert, author and on-air personality. She regularly weighs in on national shows including Good Morning America and The Today Show, in magazines like Cosmopolitan and Glamour, and on sites including Yahoo! and Tech Insider. She’s hosted television shows for OWN: The Oprah Winfrey Network and Discovery’s TLC; and digital content for The New York Post, AOL and NBC, among others.

Andrea is a five-time published author of popular titles including, Cheat On Your Husband (With Your Husband) and He’s Just Not Your Type (And That’s a Good Thing).
