Kyle Baker
Professor Kyle Baker has authored over fifteen graphic novels and illustrated hundreds more in a career that extends over three decades. He is the winner of eight Eisner Awards, four Harvey Awards, an Inkpot Award, and a Glyph Award, among others. A pioneer in the graphic novel format since the 1980s, he helped define and evolve the medium with works such as Nat Turner, Why I Hate Saturn, and King David. Other titles include The Cowboy Wally Show; You Are Here; Truth: Red, White & Black; and Birth of a Nation. He recently completed a cartoon ad campaign for Nike featuring Kevin Durant. Professor Baker has lectured at Dartmouth University, Howard University, the Library of Congress, and the School of Visual Arts, and he regularly teaches homeless teens for the City of New York. Emily Flake
Emily Flake is an award-winning illustrator, cartoonist, and writer. Her work has appeared in Time, The New Yorker, The New York Times, The Globe and Mail, Forbes, The Nation, and many others.
Amy Kurzweil
Amy Kurzweil
Amy Kurzweil’s comics appear in the Huffington Post and in the New Yorker. Her series GutterFACE is hosted by the literary webcast drDOCTOR. Her prose has appeared in The Toast, Hobart, Washington Square and other publications. Kurzweil has a BA from Stanford University and an MFA from The New School. In 2013, she was the recipient of a Norman Mailer Fellowship. She teaches writing and comics at Parsons The New School for Design and at the Fashion Institute of Technology. She lives in Brooklyn.
Jeremy Nguyen
Jeremy Nguyen
Jeremy Nguyen is a cartoonist and illustrator based in Brooklyn. His clients include Time Inc., Thrillist, College Humor and his work has appeared in Time Out New York, Brooklyn Magazine, and Bedford + Bowery. He is the illustrator of "Stranger Than Bushwick", which serializes in Bushwick Daily.

Andrea Tsurumi
Andrea Tsurumi
Andrea Tsurumi is an illustrator and cartoonist whose work has been published by TOON Books, Locust Moon Press, The Nib, SpongeBob Comics, and Penguin Books, among others. Born and raised in New York, she now lives in Philadelphia and likes her ice cream angry. Her first book, Why Would You Do That? is out now from Hic + Hoc. R. Sikoryak
R. Sikoryak is the author of Masterpiece Comics and Terms and Conditions: The Graphic Novel. He’s drawn for The New Yorker, The New York Times Book Review, The Onion, MAD, and The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. His literary adaptations have appeared in The Best American Comics 2015, The Graphic Canon, Drawn and Quarterly, and Fable Comics.
