Literati: A Comedy Show About the Greatest American Novels Never Written
Literati is a night of comedians in character performing hilarious readings. Sophisticated, satirical, and sometimes wigs. Do you ever leave a comedy show saying "Hmm that was pretty funny but not enough reading.." Well then this is the show for you!

And your hosts Colin O'Brien and Michael Wolf love to read! They've read upwards of one books between the two of them and now they want to share that love of literature with you!

Colin O’Brien
Colin O'Brien is a writer/performer/producer living in Brooklyn, NY. In 2016 he was selected as one of the "New Faces of Comedy" at the Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal. He can currently be seen performing bi-monthly at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre Chelsea with his high-octane sketch comedy troupe O.S.F.U.G: The Fast Fuckin' Sketch Show. He can also be seen performing around NYC as part of the musical comedy duo Nancy whose show Home Is Where The Songs Is enjoyed a 7 month run at The Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre Chlesea in 2015. Michael Wolf
Michael Wolf
Michael Wolf is a comedian, writer, actor and filmmaker living New York City. He's currently a writer/producer at MTV where he show-runs “After Hours with Josh Horowitz”. He regularly performs at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater, as part of the sketch group OSFUG: The Fast Fuckin’ Sketch Show and as half of the comedy music duo NANCY (SF Sketchfest), who some have said "saved rock and roll" -Anonymous. He's made videos for MTV, College Humor and Above Average. Michael is currently locked in the stairwell so if you could come let him out that would be awesome.

Alexandra Song is a comedy writer and performer in NYC and is currently a writer on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. Alex has also appeared on MTV's Girl Code and The Chris Gethard Show and has written for truTV's Comedy Knockout and VH1. She has acted in videos for Funny or Die, IFC, Above Average, The Huffington Post, Refinery29, Elite Daily, Mashable, Mas Mejor, and more.
Joanna Simmons
Joanna Simmons
Joanna Simmons is an actress and comedian living in NYC. She studied Theatre at Northwestern University and is currently an actor/director at Story Pirates.
Madonna Refugia
Madonna Refugia
Madonna Refugia is a writer and comedian who performs musical comedy as a variety of characters. She can be seen on WFMU's Prove it All Night!, and on The Special Without Brett Davis on MNN. She has also written for Elite Daily, Above Average, and Reductress. Having founded the award-winning sketch comedy group, ManiPedi, Madonna has performed in the Montreal Sketch Festival, Chicago Sketch Fest, Ladies are Funny Festival in Austin, TX, NYC Sketch Fest, Philly Sketch Fest, and the Women in Comedy Festival.
Ian Stroud
Ian Stroud
Ian Stroud is a photographer, videographer and funny guy living in NYC. He writes and performs in the punk rock sketch comedy group O.S.F.U.G: The Fast Fucking Sketch Show. He co-wrote and co-stars in An Evening With The Trumpet Boys, which was dubbed "the dorkiest show ever to grace the Chelsea stage" by a close friend. He was Director of Photography for the UCB Digital Team 'circuit'. You can see his camera work all throughout the comedy scene, on UCBcomedy, Funny or Die, College Humor, etc.
Brian Faas
Brian Faas
Brian Faas has been a UCB performer since 2006. He currently improvises every Friday night with The Law Firm. You can also catch him on the UCB stage with Ass Wednesday, Hot For Teacher, or hosting the fake talk show DING DONG! Brian got his start as a cast member on Vh1's Best Week Ever. Since then, he's appeared on Comedy Central, Fuse, Bravo, Logo, Fusion - and in videos for Above Average, IFC, and UCB Comedy. He's also written for MTV, truTV, and the History Channel. In 2015, Brian served as the drunk sidekick for the late-night show "Bianca Unanchored."
