Rent Party
Rent Party
Rent Party is a improvised music and stand up show that’s about as much fun as you can fit into one place. Yedoye Travis, Farah Brook and the backing band, The Original Lineup, invite New York’s best comedians to tell jokes and stories set to some of the best music in the city.

Hari Kondabolu
Hari Kondabolu
Hari Kondabolu has been described by Timeout NY as “smart, analytical and rising.” He has performed on Conan, Jimmy Kimmel Live Live, John Oliver's New York Standup Show and has a half-hour Comedy Central Presents special. He was also a writer and correspondent for FX’s Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell. Hari has also established himself in the UK with appearances on BBC 3’s Russell Howard’s Good News, Live at the Electric and Channel 4’s 8 out 10 Cats. When in New York City, he works with his brother Ashok (Dapwell of the now-defunct Das Racist) co-hosting the live, mostly improvised talk show The Untitled Kondabolu Brothers Project and their podcast The Untitled Kondabolu Brothers Podcast.
Alex English
Alex English
Alex English has quickly become a very familiar face in the New York City comedy circuit. Originally from Detroit, Michigan, English moved to the big apple & immediately commanded the stages of local bars and comedy clubs across the city. He runs a weekly comedy show called "LoudMouth!" & in 2015, Complex Magazine listed him as one of "The Best Personalities to Follow on Twitter." He contributes writing for "Lady Parts Justice" & has been featured in the New York Post.
Joel Kim Booster
Joel Kim Booster
Joel Kim Booster is a Chicago bred, Brooklyn based comedian and writer. He cares deeply about cats, appointment television, various feuds and more! He has been featured on Conan, Logo, Comedy Central and he desperately wants you to like him.
Emmy Blotnick
Emmy Blotnick
Emmy Blotnick is a comedian who was named one of Comedy Central's Comics to Watch. She’s currently a writer for The President Show on Comedy Central. Previously she's written for @midnight with Chris Hardwick, The Roast of Rob Lowe, Not Safe with Nikki Glaser and other fun shows. Emmy has appeared on @midnight and in festivals including SF Sketchfest, Riot LA and the New York Comedy Festival. You can hear some of her standup here on WNYC's 2 Dope Queens.
Samantha Ruddy
Samantha Ruddy
Samantha Ruddy tells jokes, writes funny stuff, and weasels her way into your heart with her gay-girl-next-door charm. At the age of 25, she’s headlined Carolines on Broadway and has been featured at national comedy festivals like New York Comedy Festival, San Francisco Sketchfest, and Limestone Comedy Festival. Brooklyn Magazine called her one of Brooklyn’s 50 Funniest People, and BUST says she’s a comic “you should be obsessed with.” Samantha’s open-hearted comedy is clever, disarming, and sly. Read her writing on Collegehumor, Someecards, and Reductress, check out a show, and follow her on Twitter @Samlymatters. You’ll be glad you did. And she will too!
Kate Willett
Kate Willett is a San Francisco based comedian, storyteller, writer, and actor. San Francisco Magazine says she's a comedian you should know about. She's a regular at the San Francisco Punchline, Cobb's, Doc's Lab, The Improv, SF Sketchfest and basically every dive bar and theater in town. She's opened for some of her favorite comedians, including Margaret Cho, Anthony Jeselnik, Jackie Kashian, and a whole bunch more. She produces four shows in San Francisco, including the Mission Position, Live at Deluxe, Sup Gurl, and Convent Comedy.
May Wilkerson
May Wilkerson
May Wilkerson is a standup comedian and staff writer at Someecards, where she creates clickable content to help distract you from your own terrifying thoughts (a civil servant of sorts). She’s originally from outside of Boston, but would be a New Yorker at heart if she had one. You may have seen her on Lifetime, performing at bars and clubs all over the city, or by the snack table at a party sneaking chips into her bag for later. Her writing has appeared in the Huffington Post, TheFix and Salon.

Farah is the co-creator and star of the hit web series Very Successful Web Series premiering at NYC Web Fest. She also co-created the series Prism Horizons alongside comedy brother Blair Socci.
