Literati is a night of comedians in character performing hilarious readings. Sophisticated, satirical, and sometimes wigs. Do you ever leave a comedy show saying "Hmm that was pretty funny but not enough reading.." Well then this is the show for you!

And your hosts Colin O'Brien and Michael Wolf love to read! They've read upwards of one books between the two of them and now they want to share that love of literature with you!

Colin O’Brien
Colin O'Brien is a writer/performer/producer living in Brooklyn, NY. In 2016 he was selected as one of the "New Faces of Comedy" at the Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal. He can currently be seen performing bi-monthly at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre Chelsea with his high-octane sketch comedy troupe O.S.F.U.G: The Fast Fuckin' Sketch Show. He can also be seen performing around NYC as part of the musical comedy duo Nancy whose show Home Is Where The Songs Is enjoyed a 7 month run at The Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre Chlesea in 2015. Michael Wolf
Michael Wolf
Michael Wolf is a comedian, writer, actor and filmmaker living New York City. He's currently a writer/producer at MTV where he show-runs “After Hours with Josh Horowitz”. He regularly performs at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater, as part of the sketch group OSFUG: The Fast Fuckin’ Sketch Show and as half of the comedy music duo NANCY (SF Sketchfest), who some have said "saved rock and roll" -Anonymous. He's made videos for MTV, College Humor and Above Average. Michael is currently locked in the stairwell so if you could come let him out that would be awesome.
Dave Hill
Dave Hill
Dave Hill is a comedian, writer, and musician originally from Cleveland but now living in New York City. He has appeared on Inside Amy Schumer, @midnight, Full Frontal with Samantha Bee, and The Jim Gaffigan Show among other programs, and is a regular host on HBO and Cinemax. Dave has starred in his own TV series, The King of Miami, on the MOJO Network, which was cancelled even though Dave really liked it. He has written for The New York Times, The Paris Review, Salon, GQ, McSweeney’s, The New York Observer, The Cleveland Plain Dealer, and Guitar World, among other publications. He is a regular contributor to public radio’s This American Life and hosts his own radio show, The Goddamn Dave Hill Show, on WFMU in Jersey City, New Jersey. Dave performs live comedy in theaters and basements all over the world and even opened for Snoop Dogg once, which was awesome. He also plays guitar and sings in his own rock band, Valley Lodge, whose song “Go” is the theme song for HBO’sLast Week Tonight with John Oliver. Dave has written two books, Dave Hill Doesn’t Live Here Anymore (2016 Blue Rider Press and Tasteful Nudes:...and Other Misguided Attempts at Personal Growth and Validation (2012 St. Martin’s Press). He also smells really great and has made out with a lot of chicks and you can ask anyone.
Chrissy Shackelford

Chrissy Shackelford is a performer and writer based in NYC. Originally from Texas, she studied and performed comedy at ColdTowne Theater in Austin. In New York, she performs on the Maude team, The Classic, is a former cast member of Characters Welcome at UCBT and is an actor and director with The Story Pirates. You can see her solo show, Diane Shangri-La Presents: Not Dry Yet, running at UCBT Chelsea now. Her work has been featured on Reductress, CollegeHumor, Refinery29, and Above Average. You can see 1/3 of her face in a crowd scene in a season 4 episode of Friday Night Lights. She can't remember which episode.
Jason Gore
Jason Gore
Jason Gore is a comedian, writer, & actor from Radford, VA. He is a performer at Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre and is a founding member Bridge & Tunnel, a sketch group that has performed at New York City Sketch Festival, Jersey City Comedy Festival, Boston Comedy Arts Festival, and won the Yelp Audience Favorite and Best Newcomer awards at Sketchfest Montreal. Jason appeared in Hulu's Difficult People & he has acted in videos for Above Average, UCB Comedy & IFC.com. He is also a producer for The Best Show with Tom Scharpling.

Alexandra Song is a comedy writer and performer in NYC and is currently a writer on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. Alex has also appeared on MTV's Girl Code and The Chris Gethard Show and has written for truTV's Comedy Knockout and VH1. She has acted in videos for Funny or Die, IFC, Above Average, The Huffington Post, Refinery29, Elite Daily, Mashable, Mas Mejor, and more.
Taylor Gonzalez
Taylor Gonzalez
Taylor Gonzalez is a writer, producer and actor stationed in Brooklyn. He cuts his teeth producing shows all around the city. He’s known to eat a sandwich. Theatre Strike Force Alum. UCB kid since 2013. HAWTHORNE member for life. Taylor Gonzalez is known to eat a sandwich.
