Literati is a night of comedians in character performing hilarious readings. Sophisticated, satirical, and sometimes wigs. Do you ever leave a comedy show saying "Hmm that was pretty funny but not enough reading.." Well then this is the show for you!

And your hosts Colin O'Brien and Michael Wolf love to read! They've read upwards of one books between the two of them and now they want to share that love of literature with you!

Emmy Blotnick
Emmy Blotnick is a comedian who was named one of Comedy Central's Comics to Watch. She’s currently a writer for The President Show on Comedy Central. Previously she's written for @midnight with Chris Hardwick, The Roast of Rob Lowe, Not Safe with Nikki Glaser and other fun shows. Emmy has appeared on @midnight and in festivals including SF Sketchfest, Riot LA and the New York Comedy Festival. You can hear some of her standup here on WNYC's 2 Dope Queens.
Chris Duffy
Chris Duffy
Chris Duffy is a standup comedian, television writer, and radio/podcast host. His shows have been featured in The New York Times, Boston Globe, Washington Post, LA Weekly, and in The Onion A.V. Club. Chris has appeared on National Geographic's Explorer, performed standup on Dreams TV, and written for numerous shows and pilots. He is the creator and host of You're the Expert, a live show, podcast, and public radio program where three comedians try to guess what a scientist studies all day.
Yoni Lotan
Yoni Lotan
Yoni Lotan is an actor, writer, and filmmaker living in New York City. He has a BFA in Film/TV from the School of Visual Arts and has been studying improv at the UCB theatre since 2008. He performs regularly with the house sketch team "NIPSEY" as well as the HAROLD team "Higgins". You may also see him on the road with the UCB Touring Company.
Liz Noth
Liz Noth
Liz Noth is an actor and writer based in Brooklyn and originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Liz has appeared in Amazon's Red Oaks, and The Jim Gaffigan Show, as well as on the web for MTV, Above Average, Cosmo, HuffPo and IFC. You can see Liz performing around New York with indie improv teams Warren and Wicked City. At UCB she performs with her Harold Team, Fluffty.
Fareeha Khan
Fareeha Khan
Fareeha Khan is a comedian based in Brooklyn, NY by way of Virginia. She's a writer and actor with ToS Comedy, who create cool videos for the internet. She's performed at places like the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre, The Annoyance, The People's Improv Theatre, Chicago Sketch Fest, Diverse AF Fest, Hell Yes Fest, Brown University Comedy Conference, and various beer soaked bars around NYC.
Colin O’Brien
Colin O’Brien
Colin O'Brien is a writer/performer/producer living in Brooklyn, NY. In 2016 he was selected as one of the "New Faces of Comedy" at the Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal. He can currently be seen performing bi-monthly at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre Chelsea with his high-octane sketch comedy troupe O.S.F.U.G: The Fast Fuckin' Sketch Show. He can also be seen performing around NYC as part of the musical comedy duo Nancy whose show Home Is Where The Songs Is enjoyed a 7 month run at The Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre Chlesea in 2015. Michael Wolf
Michael Wolf
Michael Wolf is a comedian, writer, actor and filmmaker living New York City. He's currently a writer/producer at MTV where he show-runs “After Hours with Josh Horowitz”. He regularly performs at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater, as part of the sketch group OSFUG: The Fast Fuckin’ Sketch Show and as half of the comedy music duo NANCY (SF Sketchfest), who some have said "saved rock and roll" -Anonymous. He's made videos for MTV, College Humor and Above Average. Michael is currently locked in the stairwell so if you could come let him out that would be awesome.
