Comedian Josie Long (Comedy Central’s @midnight, Seeso’s Night Train with Wyatt Cenac) returns to New York from the UK - following her New York Times Critics’ Pick solo show run off-Broadway last year - with a special, one-off headline set at Union Hall. She’ll be joined with support from a bunch of her stand-up friends.

Josie Long is one of the most respected UK comedians of her generation. She’s most well known in the UK for her numerous BBC Radio Four series and her appearances across UK television. Her eighth solo show, Somethin Better, enjoyed a sell-out tour across the UK and sell-out shows in London’s West End. In the US, she’s appeared on Comedy Central’s @midnight, Seeso’s Night Train with Wyatt Cenac; she’s supported the likes of Eugene Mirman on tour; and has performed two off-Broadway runs with her acclaimed solo hours.

Maeve Higgins brings the pain - of laughter! She is a writer and comedian standing at 6”4 or thereabouts. Her second book of essays was published in Ireland and the UK in october. She lives in New York.

Jonny Donahoe is sometimes a stand-up comedian. He is also sometimes an actor. From time to time he is a playwright. And occasionally a musician. He is almost never a member of The Human League.

Patti Harrison is a comedi-aunt to 3 beautiful nephews of varying ages and values. She is a trans/queer demon from Columbus with asthma and a lazy eye in pictures sometimes at certain angles. She is violent, resistant to bullets, and has doubled in size since the last time she was spotted off the Kyushu coastline.
Alex Edelman
Alex Edelman
ALEX EDELMAN is the winner of the prestigious Best Newcomer Award at the 2014 Edinburgh Comedy Festival. A Bostonian native, Alex wrote and performed the award winning one-man show Millennial which was recently adapted into a half-hour version for BBC Radio. He performs often internationally and in comedy clubs and on storytelling shows all over New York.
