Muppet Vault: Gonzo the Great!
What exactly is Gonzo, the Muppet? Is he a death-defying daredevil, a performance artist, or just a blue guy with a big nose and a weird attraction to chickens? He’s all of those things and more, but mostly he’s hilarious. This January, Muppet fan website ToughPigs.com celebrates all things Gonzo with an evening of his most memorable moments.

The event will include a screening of the classic Muppet Show episode in which Gonzo threatens to leave the show(?!), plus lots of Gonzo-centric clips and songs from various Muppet productions both beloved and incredibly obscure. There will be plenty of audience participation, with sing-along fun, cool giveaways, drink specials and more!

Hardcore Muppet geeks and casual fans alike are invited to Union Hall (702 Union Street in Park Slope, Brooklyn) on Monday, January 20 for “The Muppet Vault: Gonzo the Great!” Doors open at 7:00 PM. Weirdoes are also welcome, please note this show is 21 and over only.

The Muppet Vault is a regular series presented by the Muppet fan site ToughPigs.com at Union Hall, featuring classic, rare, and unreleased videos from the Muppets, Sesame Street, and the works of Jim Henson.

About ToughPigs.com:
ToughPigs.com is a geeky website for "Muppet fans who grew up." The site's mission is to provide a sounding board and forum for biting satire, poignant observations, and general wittiness related to the Muppets, Sesame Street, Fraggle Rock, and all things connected to Jim Henson's life and legacy. Established in 2001, ToughPigs features interviews with celebrities of the Muppet/Henson world, product reviews, and in-depth commentaries, posted several days per week and aimed toward adult-aged fans of the Muppet franchises.
