Sci-Fi Explosion
Have you ever wondered about Robocop's secret past as a fried chicken salesman? Did you ever write a letter to E.T. telling him how much you love/fear him? Why the hell was Webster bothering Worf on the bridge of the Enterprise that one time? If any of these questions have haunted your very soul, New York Super Week has the perfect event for you! Join host/writer Chris Cummins (Den of Geek, Geekadelphia, What's Dave Kendall Wearing?, Topless Robot) for Sci-Fi Explosion, a cosmic cabaret of craziness that will be highlighted by a performance by Carmen Martella III (as a parody of Skeletor), a talk by pop culture expert Ben Leach on strange foreign movie posters, as well as some carefully curated video clips that showcase the weirder world of science fiction and its fandom. There will also be trivia with prizes from Quirk Books, WeLoveFine and MVD Entertainment Group, as well as Karaoke Madness hosted by Carmen Martella III, and much, much more!
