Guiding Light
Guiding Light
Musician Jason Sebastian Russo (Mercury Rev, Hopewell, Common Prayer, Kevin Devine) and filmmaker Tara Autovino (Ultimate Christian Wrestling, for a swim with the fish) are Guiding Light. The songs are more rock than Common Prayer but rock in a very different way than Hopewell or Mercury Rev. Think minimalist over maximalist production. A focus on vibe rather than elaborate technique. Lead vocal duties will be shared by Tara and Jason.

Guiding Light is the name of an American soap opera, popular in the 1980's, which may or may not have had a character named Tara, after whom Mrs. Autovino may or may not have named her daughter.
