Eugene Mirman Comedy Festival 2017
Founded in 2008 by Julie Smith Clem and Eugene Mirman, The Eugene Mirman Comedy Festival is the world’s first sincere-and-ironic comedy festival that celebrates a close-knit comedy community, while making fun of the trappings of mainstream festival programming.
Over the last 13 years, “Sweet” has become a New York comedy institution. Created, hosted and produced by comedian/actor Seth Herzog, who is the current resident comedian & sketch performer at the “Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon.” “Sweet” has always been an incredible mash up of stand up, characters, audience games & a large dose so spontaneous shenanigans—so much so it’s hard to classify it. Over the years, the show has hosted every great stand up you can think of as well as, Paul Rudd, Justin Long, Josh Charles, Fred Armisen, Sam Rockwell, Olivia Wilde and many more, including the late, great Joe Franklin.
T.J. Miller is an American actor, stand-up comedian, producer, and writer. From 2014 to 2017, he starred as Erlich Bachman in the HBO sitcom Silicon Valley.
Stand up comedian & host of Sweet every Tuesday night.
Brett Davis performs under the guises of his many twisted characters both live and and on his public access variety show The Special Without Brett Davis. He was the 2015 Andy Kaufman Award winner was a featured act at SF SketchFest. He wrote and produced the IFC webseries Boy Band and has appeared on The Chris Gethard Show, The Best Show, Adult Swim and MTV.
Greg Barris is a staple in New York’s downtown stand-up scene and is the creator of Heart Of Darkness 'The World's Most Important Live Event': a psychedelic showcase of comedy, live music and fringe scientists that has been a frequent Time Out New York critic’s pick, much loved by BrooklynVegan and hailed as ‘Excellent’ by The New Yorker.
PAPER Magazine describes him as “the perfect combination of very good looking, hilarious and super-weird."
