Josh Gondelman
Josh Gondelman is a writer and comedian who incubated in Boston before moving to New York City, where he currently lives and works as a writer for Last Week Tonight with John Oliver. Onstage, Josh charms audiences using his good-natured storytelling and cracks them up with his sharp, pointy wit. He takes topics from surprise parties to his experience teaching preschool and makes them all equally hilarious. This spring, he made his late night standup debut on Conan (TBS), and he can also be seen on the first season of Night Train With Wyatt Cenac (SeeSo). Josh’s newest comedy album Physical Whisper debuted in March at #1 on the iTunes comedy charts (as well as #4 on the Billboard comedy chart) and stayed there for…well…longer than he expected, honestly.
Jeffrey Joseph
Jeffrey Joseph
Jeffrey Joseph is an Emmy-nominated comedy writer, an accomplished stand-up comedian and an award-winning actor. He starred in the feature film The Wrong Mr. Johnson and has appeared opposite such stars as Will Smith, Whoopie Goldberg and Bill Murray. On TV Jeff was a regular on The Popcorn Kid, HBO's Dream On, Fox's The Late Show, Haywire and Comic Strip Live. He's also written and developed television pilots for Fox, ABC, MGM, Imagine and Castle Rock. As a stand-up comedian, he has appeared on national television dozens of times including on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Jeffrey also finds the time to work as a Teaching Artist in under-served NYC High Schools. He spends his spare time writing flossy bios in the third person and brushing his hair.
Veronica Garza
Veronica Garza
Since moving to NYC from Dallas, Texas, Veronica Garza, she has performed at Broadway Comedy Club, New York Comedy Club, QED, and many other alternative spots around NYC. She’s been on MTV, TMZ, been featured in The Daily Mail, and on NPR. Her acerbic wit and energetic stage presence make Veronica a unique force in the local scene. Her comedy is fresh, upbeat, unexpected and helps you take life, or yourself, not so seriously.
Becca Beberaggi
Becca Beberaggi is a NYC based writer, comedian and performer. She is the host for Comedy Night at Paste Magazine and produces a monthly female only stand-up showcase at The Peoples Improv Theatre called "A Lady Mustache Show". Most recently you might have seen her at the Brooklyn Comedy Festival or She Makes Me Laugh Femme Fest. Her solo show "I Laugh To keep From Crying" premiered at SoloCom in 2016. She's a tiny human who naps.
Gina Ginsberg
Gina Ginsberg is a comedian and visual storyteller originally from Seattle. Her work has been published from VICE to the Oregon Register Guard. Her documentary aired on PBS and she loves plants.
Jimmy Hoffman
Jimmy grew up in Brooklyn with roots in the South Bronx and San German, Puerto Rico. He attended Emerson College and has been performing stand-up and hosting open mics around the city for five years.
Venessa Peruda
Venessa is a comedy writer and performer from So. California now based in NYC. She has over 8 years of experience writing, performing and producing comedy. Her work has been accepted into The Chicago Comedy Film Festival (2012,2015), She Devil Comedy Festival, Brooklyn Comedy Festival, Red Hook Film Festival, Manhattan Int'l Film Fest, and Beverly Hills New Media Fest. She has play writing experience and acting training from a BFA in Theatre at USCD. She has studied improv and sketch writing at the Upright Citizens Brigade (LA and NY), writes and produces live sketches and shorts for the comedy festival circuit, as well as performs stand up all over NYC.
Zilla Vodnas
Zilla Vodnas, is a native New York comic who can be seen from Bushwick to Broadway in the 5 boroughs. Zilla's positivity and progressivism is tempered with an acerbic attitude, and audiences have followed her from Boston's Women in Comedy Festival to Atlanta's Laughing Skull Lounge. Zilla is both host and producer of Brooklyn's wildest variety show Gran Noche and The(Sis), a monthly feminist comedy show at Starr Bar.
Christina Galston
Christina Galston is a self proclaimed "Jewrican" and has spent her life honing her unique cross cultural upbringing into a powerfully honest sense of humour and razor wit. With an engaging charming style and punchlines you'll be repeating the next day she is a master storyteller and has been writing and performing stand up in nyc 12 years
Melissa Rocha
HOST Melissa Rocha is a Brooklyn based comedian from Texas. Comedy supports her high functioning anxiety disorder and not much else.
