Derrick C. Brown is a comedian, poet and storyteller. He is the winner of the 2013 Texas Book of The Year award for Poetry. The New York Times calls his work, “…a rekindling of faith in the weird, hilarious, shocking, beautiful power of words.” Brown has toured with comedians and musicians such as Eugene Mirman, David Cross, Rival Sons, and Cold War Kids. He has performed on Jay Leno, and has been featured on podcasts such as This American Life with Ira Glass and The Nerdist with Kurt Braunohler. He has performed all over the United States and Europe for over 20 years.

Mahogany Browne
Mahogany L. Browne is a California-born, Brooklyn based writer, educator, activist, mentor, and curator. She has published several books of poetry, including her most recent book Black Girl Magic She is an Urban Word NYC Artistic Director (as seen on HBO's Brave New Voices), founder of Women Writers of Color Reading Room, Director of BLM@Pratt Programming, and facilitates performance poetry and writing workshops throughout the country.

Elna Baker is a writer and comedic storyteller. She’s a regular contributor on This American Life and has appeared on The Moth Radio Hour, Prairie Home Companion, BBC Radio 4, All Things Considered, WTF with Marc Maron, Studio 360, The Joy Behar Show and in the book The Moth: 50 true stories. She’s written for ELLE, Glamour, Men’s Journal, O Magazine, Rookie, Refinery29, More Magazine and xoJane.com. Her memoir The New York Regional Mormon Singles Halloween Dance was published by Penguin, earning four stars in People Magazine and the 2010 AML award for best humor writing. She currently scouts stories for This American Life and performs throughout NYC.
