Throughout history there have been many figures and movements deserving of mockery, yet they somehow escaped unscathed, comedian Matt Strickland aims to rectify that situation. No historical figure will be safe as everyone from Rasputin to The Beat Generation to The 1968 Democratic Convention will become targets of New York's best and meanest comedians.

Matthew Strickland is a comedian and filmmaker living in Brooklyn. He is the writer/producer of MTV's 420 Theater and the host of the monthly I'd Rather Be Weird Than Good Variety Hour.
Sonia Denis
Sonia Denis
Sonia Denis is a New York-based comedian by way of Chicago, IL. Sonia’s stand-up can be described as confessional, frenetic and another cool adjective. Sonia was named one of Comedy Central’s 2016 Comics to Watch. She has performed at the Bridgetown Comedy Festival, Riot LA, The High Plains Comedy Festival, The Onion & A.V. Club’s 2nd Annual 26th Annual Comedy Festival, The Comedy Exposition, All Jane No Dick, The Crom Comedy Festival and The SCOUT CHICAGO Festival. She was a writer and performer in Second City’s critically acclaimed Black Side of the Moon. Her writing has been featured on McSweeney’s Internet Tendency and Brightest Young Things. She co-starred in the Emmy nominated web series Brown Girls.
Yedoye Travis

Yedoye Travis is a stand up comedian, writer, and actor from Atlanta, GA. In 2017 he was named a New Face at the Montreal Just For Laughs festival, during which he opened for W. Kamau Bell and taped for Kevin Hart's LOL Network. He has since appeared on Search Party, Comedy Central, and Late Show with Stephen Colbert, and contributed content for MTV. He has also performed at the Hell Yes and Bridgetown Comedy festivals and appeared on the fourth season of Coming to the Stage. His debut album, OK, produced by Comedy Dynamics, was released on January 12th, 2018.

Emily Winter is a comedian, writer, and NBC Late Night Writers Workshop script judge. She's written for Glamour, TV Land, Fusion TV, has performed in the San Francisco SketchFest, and co-created WHAT A JOKE, an anti-Trump comedy festival that raised more than $50K for The ACLU. Emily was raised in the Midwest on cheese and fastpitch softball.

Colby Smith
Colby Smith is a comedian and writer based in New York City. He is the co-host of the weekly comedy show New Bits and can be heard every Sunday morning hosting Young Person's Radio on Radio Free Brooklyn. He has appeared in the Out of Bounds Comedy Festival, Montreal Sketch Fest, New York City Sketch Fest, North Carolina Comedy Arts Festival, and more, as well as videos for Funny or Die and IFC’s Comedy Crib.

Christi made her Comedy Central debut on Jeff Ross's Roast Battle, opposite legend Jimmy Carr and was just named a 'New Face of Comedy' at the Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal. She co-hosts Battle of the Divas at Union Hall with Matteo Lane and has a one woman show "It's Christi, B*tch!" at Ars Nova. You can hear Christi as Baby Saffron in the upcoming animated series 'Pinkalicious and Peterrific' on PBS starting in February!

Akilah is a comedian (stand up, sketch, improv, writer, YouTuber, etc.,) originally from Cincinnati (who dey?!) who is now hanging out in Brooklyn, NY. She has written for Fusion, HelloGiggles, Femsplain, and Refinery29.
Pat Wise
Pat Wise is a comedian and musician living in Brooklyn. He created the instagram @audiosnacks where he posts his songs with accompanying animations. He hosts a monthly comedy variety show at Legion Bar in Brooklyn called Cool Show (not lame) which just celebrated its five year anniversary.
