Comedians and "scientists" Madelyn Freed (The Annoyance) and Blythe Roberson (New Yorker, The Onion) investigate a new scientific topic each month. From AI to romantic attraction to body decomposition, Madelyn and Blythe give an hour-long lecture with help from NYC's funniest comedians. At the end of every show, they bring out an actual scientific authority to pester with questions and to tell them where they went wrong.

Madelyn Freed is a comedian moonlighting as a software developer. She performs long-form improv secretly. Freed is the founder of the Crone Collective, an organization that throws parties designed for you to meet your best friend.
Blythe Roberson
Blythe Roberson
Blythe Roberson is a writer and comedian who lives in Brooklyn. She is a contributor to The New Yorker, The Onion, and ClickHole and a staffer at The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. She is currently writing a book, How To Date Men When You Hate Men, for Flatiron Books. Blythe is a member of the sketch group Lo-Fi NYC and hosts two variety shows at Union Hall: "The Scientists" and "Book Club."
Rachel Pegram
Rachel Pegram
Rachel Pegram is a comedian, actor, writer, and singer living in New York. Rachel was born and raised in Denton, Texas. She's appeared in videos and sketches for MTV, CollegeHumor, Above Average, The Scene, Mashable, Refinery29 and more. She is on the sketch group Lo-Fi NYC which performs monthly shows at Under St. Mark’s and she also hosts a late night-esque variety show with her comedy partner Rachel Joravsky called That Shit Ray monthly. She's also on a house team at UCB.
Zach Zimmerman
Zach Zimmerman
Zach Zimmerman is a queer comedian, writer, producer, and host based in Brooklyn, NY. He's performed with The Second City Theatricals, iO Theatre, Annoyance Theatre, and his humor writing has appeared in The New Yorker, The Huffington Post, and on his mother's fridge (unconfirmed). Described as a “hyper-prolific, wickedly-funny stand-up” (TimeOut NY) and a “world class comic” (Chicago Reader), Zach blends stand-up, storytelling, and interactive crowd work to create unique theatrical experiences. He graduated from Princeton and was the first person in his family to go to college. He lives in Brooklyn and shares a single bathroom with three adult humans.
