Rent Party is a improvised music and stand up show that’s about as much fun as you can fit into one place. Yedoye Travis, Farah Brook and the backing band, The Original Lineup, invite New York’s best comedians to tell jokes and stories set to some of the best music in the city.

Farah Brook hopes to heal you through the art form of stand up comedy. She is a recurring guest on FOX's Red Eye w/ Tom Shillue and performs every night at major venues across New York City. Farah’s YouTube video "Kiss Me NYC" went viral in April and has been viewed almost 5 million times by people all over the world. Her videos have been featured in The Huffington Post, Time Magazine, People Magazine, MTV and more. Farah is the co-creator and star of the hit web series Very Successful Web Series premiering at NYC Web Fest. She also co-created the series Prism Horizons alongside comedy brother Blair Socci. Her writing can be found published on Reductress and Someecards. Farah was named "Comic to Watch: 2016" on her own blog, and feels at this point in her life she might be ready for a robe.

Yedoye Travis
Yedoye Travis is a stand up comedian, writer, and actor from Atlanta, GA. In 2017 he was named a New Face at the Montreal Just For Laughs festival, during which he opened for W. Kamau Bell and taped for Kevin Hart's LOL Network. He has since appeared on Search Party, Comedy Central, and Late Show with Stephen Colbert, and contributed content for MTV. He has also performed at the Hell Yes and Bridgetown Comedy festivals and appeared on the fourth season of Coming to the Stage. His debut album, OK, produced by Comedy Dynamics, was released on January 12th, 2018.

Chris Gethard
Chris Gethard is the host and star of Funny or Die's "The Chris Gethard Show" on TruTV and the host of the popular Earwolf podcast "Beautiful Stories from Anonymous People". Chris recently starred in the Mike Birbiglia film, “Don’t Think Twice" and can be seen as ‘Todd’ on Comedy Central’s “Broad City". Other credits include “Inside Amy Schumer,” “Parks and Recreation”, “The Office” and the film “The Heat.” Chris is also the author of the book "A Bad Idea I’m About to Do".

Comedy folk duo Friends Who Folk takes you on a journey through the magical, intricate and startling world of folk music.

RACHEL WENITSKY is a New York-based actor, writer and comedian. She is a writer and associate editor at Reductress, host of Reductress’s podcast Mouth Time and head writer of the Story Pirates podcast with Gimlet Media. She performs musical sketch comedy with Pop Roulette and is one half of the comedy folk duo Friends Who Folk. Recent theater credits include Song For a Future Generation and Big Bend In the Red Dirt Dessert, both at the Williamstown Theatre festival. TV/Film credits include The Good Fight and Elementary.

NED RISELEY is a Cloisters-based actor and writer. Most recently, he appeared on Broadway in the revival of John Guare’s Six Degrees of Separation. He has also performed at the Williamstown Theatre Festival, which is where he met his folk partner, Rachel. Their duo Friends Who Folk has been featured in The New Yorker, Splitsider and Glamour, and they perform regularly at venues like UCB, Club Cumming and Union Hall. He lives inside the Cloisters.

Jo Firestone
Jo Firestone is a comedian based in Brooklyn, New York. Her work can be seen on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, The Chris Gethard Show, and heard on WFMU. She was recently named a New Face at the 2016 Just for Laughs Festival. If you like puns, check out Punderdome: A Card Game for Pun Lovers. If you don't like puns, please disregard. NORE’s credits include Kevin Can Wait CBS, Boardwalk Empire, Luke Cage, Inside Amy Schumer, Jerry Seinfeld’s Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, Ours to Own Campaign on www.Upworthy.com, two appearances on Gotham Comedy Live, nickmom Night Out, and The Ruckus. Time Out NY named Nore one of the Top 10 Comics to Watch at the Just for Laughs festival in Montreal. Other festival appearances include Bridgetown and Chicago Comedy Festivals. His first CD Home Game was released on Black Friday 2014, on RoofTopComedy to rave reviews, with sales still climbing. His second CD Away Game on Comedy Dynamics is doing just as well. NORE is always perfecting his act. Look out for this rising star, as he reinvents comedy one laugh at a time.
