The El-Salomons
The El-Salomons
She’s hilarious and so is she! Jess Salomon and Eman El-Husseini are funny and married, to one another. One is Jewish the other Palestinian, they'll let you guess which one is which. They fell in love in Canada, got married and moved to America right before the last election. Famous for their love, their stand up and their ability to make really REALLY fantastic life decisions The El-Salomons (fresh off their sold out Off Just for Laughs run) will do it again for ONE NIGHT ONLY in Brooklyn, the place they now call home and where Jess proposed!

You can expect a combination of killer solo stand up and joint banter with a high probability of arguing since these two don't shy away from fighting especially in front of a crowd.

“Two married comics fuck with each other on stage, spreading love all over the place in the process.” - Tablet Mag
Jess Salomon
Jess Salomon
is a Canadian comedian who recently made the move to New York with her Muslim wife because she has excellent comedic timing. Since making the move, Jess was selected to be a 2017 StandUP NBC finalist and had her stand up featured on SiriusXM’s Raw Dog. She’s done lots of cool festivals in America like the Laughing Skull Festival, San Francisco Sketch Fest and the Boston Comedy Festival.

In Canada she’s been in Just for Laugh’s OFF JFL, the Winnipeg Comedy Festival, and on CBC’s “The Debaters”. Her stand up has aired on CBC Television and can be heard on SiriusXM’s “Canada Laughs” and CBC’s “LOL”.

Fun fact: before comedy Jess used to be a U.N. war crimes lawyer. The jury is still out on whether this was a good move
Eman El-Husseini
Eman El-Husseini
Since her comedy debut Eman El-Husseini has racked up an impressive list of credits.

Traveling across Canada, the U.S and the Middle East she covers a wide range of topics, from how lesbians are the new gentlemen to her parents’ wedding anniversary landing on, you guessed it, September 11th.

The Montreal Gazette describes her as “Fearless and ferociously funny” and named her “The queen of Montreal comedy”
