Reimagine End of Life is a week of exploring big questions about life and death through creativity and conversation. Artists, storytellers, healthcare professionals, faith and community leaders, and innovators across all five boroughs of New York City from Oct. 27-Nov. 3 are uniting to create a unique week of more than 300 events. 200+ collaborators are coming together to explore death and celebrate life from every perspective. Ophira Eisenberg and Emily Flake’s popular parenting comedy revue is back, and this time with a twist - we’ll be talking about both the creation of life, and its inevitable end. SHITSHOW is a safe space for parents to come and laugh at the agonies of child-rearing, but did you know that parents think about death more or less constantly? Tonight we’re going to address the elephant in the room with some of the funniest folks around.

Ophira Eisenberg is a comedian, writer, and host of NPR’s hit trivia comedy show, Ask Me Another where she has interviewed and played silly games with the likes of Sir Patrick Stewart, Connie Britton, Weird Al, Josh Groban, George Takei, Ethan Hawke, Ellie Kemper, Lewis Black, Uzo Aruba and more. She has appeared on HBO’s Girls, Comedy Central & @midnight, The Late Late Show, The Today Show, and VH-1. Ophira's debut memoir, Screw Everyone: Sleeping My Way to Monogamy was optioned for a feature film with Zucker Productions. She is also a regular host and teller with The Moth and released her second comedy album BANGS! on Comedy Dynamics.

Emily Flake
Emily Flake is a New Yorker cartoonist, a writer, an illustrator, and the author of a book called Mama Tried, which is cartoons and essays about parenting. It features a lot of cuss words.
Katina Corrao
Katina Corrao
Katina’s been seen on the Daily Show, Broad City, Deadbeat, Big Morning Buzz Live, and stages all over. She hosts Lasers in the Jungle at UCBEast and performs her one-person show, Funky Cold Katina, all over town. Her first comedy album, “Hot Date,” debuted at number 1 on the iTunes comedy chart.

Sharon Spell
Southern-born fashion plate Sharon Spell is the host of The Sharon Spell Show podcast and co-host of Gems Storytelling. She’s appeared on Adam Ruins Everything on truTV, on stage at The Moth (2x StorySlam winner) at UCB, and all around NYC.
Jessica Delfino
Jessica Delfino
Jessica Delfino is a controversial singer, songwriter, and comedian based in New York City. Her songs tend to ridicule taboos and typically include jokes about vaginas and other sexual or dark topics. In her act, she plays an assortment of instruments including guitar, flying V ukulele and a rape whistle.
Aminah Imani
Aminah Imani
Born in Providence, RI raised in Atlanta, GA; Aminah Imani is a stand up comedian who resides in New York City. In simple words, she is funny. Her career was triggered by an incident on the DC metro after speaking of her aspirations to be a comedian, when a random local challenged her demanding, “Show me some funny!”

Since then Aminah has set out on the comedy circuit performing at clubs, theaters, and hosting events for all occasions. Career highlights includes her performance at her alma mater, Howard University, Homecoming Comedy Show, she was a semi finalist in the Miller Lite Stand Up Competition, was featured on Essence’s girlfriend adventures web series, the 202 DC Comedy Festival, Blavity and BRIC TV. Aminah currently produces her own podcast, Wine Before Nine, available on sound cloud and iTunes.
