The Muppet Christmas Carol: Live Reading and Sing Along
The Muppet Christmas Carol: Live Reading and Sing Along
On Thursday December 13th at 10pm join a group of New York City's best and brightest comedians and take part in a special one-off rendition of the holiday classic "The Muppet Christmas Carol"! In the film, the Muppets perform the classic Charles Dickens holiday tale, with Kermit the Frog playing Bob Cratchit, the put-upon clerk of stingy Ebenezer Scrooge (Michael Caine). Other Muppets -- Miss Piggy, Gonzo, Fozzie Bear and Sam the Eagle -- weave in and out of the story, while Scrooge receives visits from spirits of three Christmases -- past, present and future. They show him the error of his self-serving ways, but the miserable old man seems to be past any hope of redemption and happiness.

This show will be a live stage reading of the film, mixed with sing-alongs, dances, act-outs, snacks and more! Featuring Jo Firestone (Comedy Central), Casey James Salengo (Comedy Central), Carmen Lagala (The Late Show With Stephan Colbert), Shalewa Sharpe (The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon) and more!

All proceeds from the show will go to Coalition for the Homeless, the nation's oldest advocacy and direct service organization helping homeless men, women and children in New York City!
