The Lesbian Agenda
The Lesbian Agenda
Did you hear that lesbians are taking over the world? Well, when they’re not getting killed off on TV shows or busy playing with their hairless felines!

Sophie Santos brings you their Agenda™ with this banging variety show featuring the best lez, bi and queer comedians* of all time. Buckle up those Birkenstocks ladies... they’ve got big plans.

*lineup may include straights if they are very, very funny and/or were raised by two moms.
Sophie Santos
Sophie Santos
SOPHIE SANTOS is a comedian and writer based in Brooklyn, NY who Time Out NY recently named as one of the LGBTQ POC comedians you should know. A semi-finalist for both the Fox Writers Lab and Sundance Episodic Lab, she has written for MTV and BRIC TV. She performs regularly at UCB and has been seen at venues such as Club Cumming, The Duplex, The Bell House and Union Hall (most recently with the sold out run of Handmaid’s Tale: The Musical). She is one half of the sultry sketch show, Riverdale Live (based on the hit CW show), and currently co-hosts The Lesbian Agenda, a Variety Show, at Union Hall. This summer she performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and in October, she'll be performing at The Kennedy Center in association with The Bentzen Ball.
Jess Salomon
Jess Salomon
is a Canadian comedian who recently made the move to New York with her Muslim wife because she has excellent comedic timing. Since making the move, Jess was selected to be a 2017 StandUP NBC finalist and had her stand up featured on SiriusXM’s Raw Dog. She’s done lots of cool festivals in America like the Laughing Skull Festival, San Francisco Sketch Fest and the Boston Comedy Festival.

In Canada she’s been in Just for Laugh’s OFF JFL, the Winnipeg Comedy Festival, and on CBC’s “The Debaters”. Her stand up has aired on CBC Television and can be heard on SiriusXM’s “Canada Laughs” and CBC’s “LOL”.

Fun fact: before comedy Jess used to be a U.N. war crimes lawyer. The jury is still out on whether this was a good move
Elsa Waithe
Elsa Waithe
Elsa Waithe is a Virginia native who’s been making a name for herself in the New York City standup scene for only a short while. She is the host of our monthly showcase of up and coming comedians Fresh Face Friday.
Samantha Ruddy
Samantha Ruddy
Samantha Ruddy tells jokes, writes funny stuff, and weasels her way into your heart with her gay-girl-next-door charm. At the age of 25, she’s headlined Carolines on Broadway and has been featured at national comedy festivals like New York Comedy Festival, San Francisco Sketchfest, and Limestone Comedy Festival. Brooklyn Magazine called her one of Brooklyn’s 50 Funniest People, and BUST says she’s a comic “you should be obsessed with.” Samantha’s open-hearted comedy is clever, disarming, and sly. Read her writing on Collegehumor, Someecards, and Reductress, check out a show, and follow her on Twitter @Samlymatters. You’ll be glad you did. And she will too!
Nicole Boyce
Nicole Boyce
Nicole is a writer and stand-up comedian from Los Angeles, currently living in Brooklyn. She co-hosts the monthly comedy show, In Bad Taste and the weekly pop-culture/ celebrity gossip podcast, Come To Brazil. Her writing can be found in The New Yorker, New York Magazine, Reductress, Cosmopolitan, Catapult and one time on Ariana Grande’s Instagram. Her Twitter is @nicolewboyce.
