pop-punk band with heavy doses of jagged apocalyptic blues. Eventually
Gibbs signed a solo deal with Atlantic Record for one album and went on
to release 8 more albums. Gibbs also performed in the Tony Award Winning
Broadway musical Passing Strange (Stew) and appeared in the Spike Lee
film of the same name. He has opened for / shared the stage with
Margaret Cho, John Mellencamp, Little Richard, Son Volt, John Doe and many more. His latest record under the moniker He Arrived By
Helicopter has garnered critical acclaim and explores more
instrumental, psychedelic, ambient territory. Gibbs’ 8 th album under the moniker C. Gibbs is being mixed and due out for release next fall.
Bay Uno
Born and raised on the beaches of Santa Monica, lived for many years in Berkeley/Oakland, Bay Uno is now a New Yorker.
Bay wrote these songs in his bedroom over the course of many years but rarely played them for anyone except close friends. His friend Matt Whyte (Earl Greyhound) offered to record him in his home studio, and it soon turned into a full-length record, complete with a horn section in the living room.
