Alex Borstein & The Amstergang
Alex Borstein & The Amstergang
Amstergang is a ukelele trio that was born from a cloud of smoke.

You may know Alex Borstein from Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Family Guy or MADtv, but this is definitely a departure from all that. After moving to Barcelona almost four years ago, Alex met two fellas who would alter the course of her life. Eric Mills, Salva Rey and Alex started playing music together after a marijuana infused weekend in Amsterdam and here we are folks.

A San Francisco native, Eric Mills has been living in Barcelona for the past 20 years, where he plays bass with Afrikemet (music of Ghana, Nigeria and the Congo), The Bent Wire Quartet, The Reevan Trupin Blues Quartet, and now with Alex and Salva as Amstergang.

Salva Rey, a Barcelona native, is a musician, writer and producer. He has toured the world with his band The Pinker Tones. Since 2012 he has been cowriting a series of CD-books for children called ‘Rolf & Flor’. He is currently touring to celebrate the publication of his wildly successful book, "Ukelelala: Aprende a tocar el ukelele en familia." It is a the first native Spanish language ukelele learning method.

Hope you can join us for a night of comedy and music.
