SPARK IS an evening of music & comedy & seriousness launched by Shannon Manning in which she invites a few people she loves to perform and they each invite and introduce someone else they love. Special and wonderful and sometimes surprise guests to be announced. Or not announced, thus keeping it a surprise.

1992-present songwriter/producer/weird sound maker. Working extensively with bands Saturday Looks Good To Me, Failed Flowers and Hydropark among many others but mostly stepping out solo with 2015 album "All Are Saved" on Polyvinyl Records.

Mike Daisey has been called “a brilliant filthy Garrison Keilor” and “worse, possibly, than Dick Cheney” by the New York Times and NPR, respectively.
Hamish Kilgour
Hamish Kilgour
Hamish Kilgour is a New Zealand musician notable for founding The Clean along with his brother David in 1978. He later moved to New York City and formed The Mad Scene in the early 1990s.

His first solo album, "All of It and Nothing," was released on Ba Da Bing Records on September 16, 2014.

Adam Wade
For the past thirteen years, Adam has been a fixture in both the New York City storytelling and comedy scenes. He is the winner of 20 SLAMS at The Moth (18 StorySLAM victories and 2 GrandSLAM Championships) with 20 different winning stories. He has toured across North America with The Moth Main Stage and has appeared on The Moth Radio Hour, and The Moth Podcast. Adam is a regular on the legendary comedic storytelling show Nights of Our Lives at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. He has also been part of such shows as Magnet Theater's Armando Diaz Experience, UCB's Asssscat 3000, Night Train with Wyatt Cenac, Big Terrific, The Liar Show, Mortified, and RISK, and has been featured in The New Yorker. Adam has been performing his Time Out New York Magazine's Critic's pick "You can't not like him!" monthly solo show The Adam Wade from NH Show since January 2010. The show is also a frequent New York Times 'Comedy Pick of the Week' and was part of Ruth Pennebaker's New York Times feature. His debut comedy album 'The Human Comedy' is available on iTunes and Google Play.

Peter Aguero
Peter Aguero is a regular host and Instructor for The Moth. His newest show, "Daddy Issues", has played across the country and will be a part of The 2015 Winnipeg Fringe Festival. Meg Griffiths Anderson
Meg Griffiths Anderson is an actor, writer and improviser who loves to use her malleable facial expressions to go to great lengths for a joke. She is founding member of one of NY's longest-running improv teams, The Baldwins, which TimeOut NewYork calls "one of the most absurd and impressive shows in the city." Meg has appeared on MTV, E! Entertainment, Above Average, Funny or Die! and has performed live comedy all over NYC.
Shannon Manning
Shannon Manning
Shannon Manning is a writer and producer, and creator of Spark and Beauty Love Truth (improv inspired by guest musician) which has run for over a decade at UCB, PIT, Magnet, Barrow Street Theater, Standard Toykraft, and Union Hall with stellar musical guests. Shannon learned improv from the legendary comedy inspiration Del Close and loves to talk about it.
