The Show Show with Jean Grae
The Show Show with Jean Grae
A live talk show w/super special (sometimes surprise!) guests, music, news, comedy. Because someone needs to say what we're all thinking.

Jean Grae
Jean Grae
Jean Grae is a multihyphenate artist whose work integrates music, comedy, and visual media. In addition to musical collaborations with The Roots, Talib Kweli, and Robert Glasper, the critically acclaimed performer, director, soundtrack composer, and writer has released nearly two dozen self-produced and engineered independent albums; her work is even archived in The Yale Anthology of Rap and the Smithsonian National Museum of American History and Culture.

Grae has been Keynote Speaker at Hip-Hop Week Montreal and lecturer at such institutions as Yale, Princeton, Columbia and the Kennedy Performing Arts Center. Additional appearances include NPR, 2 Broke Girls, Comedy Central, MSNBC, Vice, BET’s Hip Hop Awards, hit podcast Welcome to Night Vale and the Deadpool comic book, where she punched the titular antihero in the face.

Currently channeling her broad skill set and envelope-pushing experiences into genre-bending live ventures Church of the Infinite You, Dubbled Over and The Show Show, Grae continues defying boundaries and delivering funny, moving, inspirational experiences to audiences via earbuds, the stage, and screens both big and small.
Wyatt Cenac
Wyatt Cenac
Wyatt is a comedy person. He tells jokes for money. Or free drinks. If he's lucky, money and free drinks. He's usually not that lucky.

Season one of Problem Areas is now available on HBO Go. Follow @WCPAonHBO on Twitter for updates on season two and Spotify playlists of whale sounds.

The Topic.com web series, aka Wyatt Cenac, has been nominated for an Emmy Award for Outstanding Short Form Comedy or Drama Series. All episodes are available on Topic.com and on YouTube. Watch on both, to prove you're not a robot.
Maeve Higgins
Maeve Higgins
Maeve is the host of the hit podcast Maeve In America: Immigration IRL. She has performed all over the world, including in her native Ireland, Edinburgh, Melbourne and, most recently, Erbil. Now based in New York, she's made a name for herself there too. In a good way! She co-hosts Neil deGrasse Tyson's StarTalk on National Geographic and has appeared in Comedy Central's Inside Amy Schumer. Her work has been published in The New York Times and The Irish Times, and she is writing a book of essays for Penguin due for publication later this year.
Sonnymoon
Sonnymoon
Sonnymoon is the brainchild of musicians Dane Orr and Anna Wise.

Their dynamic journey through an experimental approach to pop music began in 2009 when front woman Anna Wise and producer Dane Orr began making music together after meeting in Boston.

Sonnymoon has released two albums: Golden Age, Sonnymoon and an EP: 2012. They have shared the stage with The Roots, Shabazz Palaces, Flying Lotus, Teebs, Shigeto, and Gonjasufi. Anna also appears on Kendrick Lamar’s grammy nominated Good Kid, m.A.A.d city.

Sonnymoon is currently located in Brooklyn, readying their third LP.

Quelle Chris
Quelle Chris
Quelle was first introduced as a member of the legendary Detroit hip hop group Wasted Youth, an extension of the Breakfast Club which also included well known Detroit rappers Elzhi and Ta'Raach. After a stint in the indie rock and electronic scene as a member of two bands, Quelle returned to hip hop along with Detroit hip hop heavyweight House Shoes and released Blue Mondays. He then changed directions releasing two albums with the electro-hop group Awesome in Outer Space and an album with his group Crown Nation called "Slutbag Edition." "SlutBag Edition," which Elzhi has called one of "his favorite albums of 2009" and has often been referred to as a detroit classic, led to production collaborations with artists like Guilty Simpson and Fool's Gold artist Danny Brown. After leading production on Danny Brown's historic release "the Hybrid" and scoring acclaim from greats like Rah Digga, Just Blaze and A Tribe Called Quest's Q-Tip, Quelle has returned to his roots as an emcee once again to bring balance back to the art from he was born to birth.

His newest project, "Shotgun and Sleek Rifle," is a return and homage to his roots. With features from House Shoes, Danny Brown, Crown Nation member Denmark Vessey, New York's Rock Marciano, and the group he started it all with, Wasted Youth. The album is a beautiful blend of soul and grunge, pulling both his deep roots in rock and his unmatched love for hip hop. As a teenager his mother asked Quelle what his ten year goal was; his response was "to fly and destroy planets." This new album, my friends, promises to be the closest he's come so far.
